NSF DDIG Proposal

In the final third of the semester you will write an NSF Doctoral Dissertation Improvement Grant (DDIG) proposal following official NSF guidelines. The subject of the proposal should be population genetic in origin, however, the specific topic, study organism, etc., is up to you. If you have not already written a DDIG or similar proposal based on your own research then you are encouraged to do so if it is sufficiently population genetically oriented. Otherwise, you should select a different appropriate research topic. The deadline for proposals will be approximately three weeks before the end of the semester so that you can respond to reviewer’s comments and re-submit if necessary.
